Ik vind dit -> Set your communications to PTP. Win7 will then recognize it.
Succes,
Walter.

The Canon Vista 64 bit drivers and software does not work on Windows 7 RTM either. According to Canon support, they don't have a release date for the 64 bit Windows 7 software nor do they have any beta that they will let you try.

Hi everyone! Workaround found!
You must enter the camera menu and find the voice "communication".
Instead of "normal" select "PTP".
There you go!
No driver needed, the camera is correctly recognized and you can choose between 2 options to download pictures:
1) Import pictures and videos using Windows
2) Open device to view files using windows Explorer
Both allow you to download pictures to your PC without the need for any additional equipment.
Geprobeerd en het werkt.
