Ik heb vandaag een Canon BG-E7 Grip gekocht omdat ik dat toch fijner vind en een leuk lensje voor binnen de Canon EF 50/1.8 II lekker licht en erg handig voor een wat donkere omgeving bv in huis.

Ik ben hem nog aan het bekijken, maar hij heeft iets heel interessants. Instellingen kaartjes, je kon kaartjes kopen met veel gebruikte instellingen erop, op het moment zit er een kaartje in met de veelzeggende titel "sport" hoe het allemaal werkt weet ik nog niet.

Prachtig Sander, iets wat hoog op mijn lijstje staat. Ik moet wel eerlijk bekennen dat ik eerst afwacht wat de systeemcamera die Fuji bevestigd heeft gaat worden. Als dit een APS of APS-C wordt met leuke lenzen dan denk ik dat dat wel eens mijn volgende camera kan gaan worden. Er gaan zelfs geruchten dat er een Leica M vatting op gaat komen!

@Bob, die laatste geruchte kende ik nog niet... maar niet dat mijn keuze dan anders was geweest! Eerste indrukken, prachtige camera, muisstil, bediening top, menu is nog een beetje zoeken.... Net wat kiekjes binnen gemaakt op ISO6400, als je dan zelf een ouderwetse DSLR hebt dan kijk je je ogen uit... En een live histogram in de optische zoeker! Morgen een weekend naar de Efteling, ga ik hem eens goed uitproberen !

@SanderL, als ik jou was (mits deze er niet op zit) moet je zo snel mogelijk opwaarderen naar firmware 1.10, ik wil hem nog steeds hebben vanwege zijn coole retro uiterlijk.

ADDENDUM: With the release of firmware v1.10 on 24th June 2011, Fujifilm has addressed a number of the issues originally raised in this review. From the photographer's point of view, the most important improvements are that the camera no longer sets the ISO and DR separately for each exposure mode, and that drive and macro mode settings are no longer forgotten on changing exposure mode or entering playback.

It's also nice to see Fujifilm addressing usability issues too: you can now wake the camera from auto power-down with a quick half-press of the shutter, and intermediate third-stop shutter speeds and apertures are available in all exposure modes. The camera's lack of customizability has been partially addressed by allowing you to change the function of the Fn button by pressing and holding it for a couple of seconds, which offers slightly quicker access to key photographic functions such as the ND filter.

Not everything has been fixed, of course - most notably you still can't change certain camera controls while the camera is writing to card, which is compounded by slow RAW write times. So there's still work to be done before the X100 is as slick in operation as the best of its mirrorless interchangeable-lens competitors. But overall Fujifilm has to be applauded for listening to feedback from both its users and reviewers, and addressing their concerns. It has made the X100 a better camera.

In Manual exposure mode, Live Histogram always implies correct exposure, regardless of settings
ISO bracketing, film simulation bracketing and dynamic range bracketing drive modes will turn off raw file recording without warning (and aren't greyed-out when shooting raw)
Depth of field scale appears to have been calculated for a 35mm actual (rather than equivalent) lens, making it distinctly conservative
When using AEL/AFL to autofocus with the camera set to MF, no focus confirmation is displayed (and equally, there's no warning when correct focus can't be attained)
When the ISO is set manually it overrides the DR setting, but in Auto ISO the DR setting takes priority
ISO 100 (L) and 12800 (H) are unavailable (greyed out) when shooting raw
In Manual exposure mode, camera will allow shooting at incompatible shutter speed / aperture combinations (e.g. 1/4000 sec F2)
Program shift only works if Auto ISO and Auto DR are disabled, and flash mode is set to Suppressed.
Program shift counts rear dial or thumb lever commands beyond the point where the aperture is set to its largest or smallest (F2 or F16), and requires those commands to be reversed before it will stop down or open up again
OVF Power Save Mode disables live histogram, but leaves the box in which it's normally displayed blank in the viewfinder
Drive mode, macro and flash mode buttons behave differently from the white balance button, and differently again from the AE and AF buttons
AF point cycles from anywhere on the top row to the bottom right position by pressing the 'up' key, and from the bottom row to the top left by pressing 'down'
In video mode, a full-press of the shutter is required to start recording, but only a half-press to stop
In video mode, autofocus is continuous regardless of focus switch position (AF-S / AF-C)
Magnified manual focus assist is not available in video mode
The ND filter is not available in motion panorama or video modes
In playback, when magnifying a portrait format image the enlarged area is shown in a 3:2 portrait format area (even if shot at 16:9), wasting most of the screen area
Images shot in 16:9 JPEG + RAW can only be reconverted in-camera to 3:2 JPEGs
Images shot in continuous drive mode use a completely different file naming convention (which causes problems with sorting)
EVF and LCD preview image can be displayed incorrectly when Shadow Tone is set to Soft or Medium Soft*
In Auto ISO, the camera initially displays the value set in the main ISO menu, even when it's above the currently-set maximum and will never be used*
Battery can be inserted the wrong way round, despite having an asymmetric shape
Supplied charger won't accept the battery directly, instead it requires a (supplied, but unlabelled) adapter piece to be fitted first
ISO and DR are set independently for each exposure mode, and for the Motion Panorama drive mode*
Drive and macro mode settings are discarded on changing exposure mode, entering playback or auto power-off*
When using the EVF or LCD, the AF point size is reset by switching to manual focus, or using the OVF*
When shooting JPEGs in 16:9 aspect ratio, the EVF and LCD displays are cropped accordingly, but the OVF displays 3:2 framelines. It's possible to enable 16:9 guidelines, but unlike the framelines they're not parallax-corrected*
Camera can only be woken from auto power off by half-pressing and holding the shutter button*
Images can't be deleted in the Detailed Information playback mode*

Wat heb ik erbij, een Canon EF-M. Een volledig handmatige lid van de EOS familie.

The Canon EF-M was a manual-focus 35mm film, SLR camera which used the Canon EF lens mount. It was introduced in 1991 for export to the non-Japanese market, and was the only manual focus camera in the EF line. It was not sold as part of the EOS range; the camera's official name was Canon EF-M rather than Canon EOS EF-M.
The EF-M was in essence a Canon EOS 1000 without an autofocus system, a built-in flash, or a top-deck LCD. It was priced slightly cheaper than the EOS 1000, and relatively few copies were sold. It was not directly available in Japan, though some were re-imported.
Uniquely amongst Canon EOS bodies it had an optical manual focus aid, a split-image focusing screen as well as a ring of microprisms. This system was common with manual focus SLRs but had since fallen out of use in the autofocus era. The screen can be installed with a certain amount of work in several autofocus EOS cameras, and can only be obtained by purchasing a used EF-M.[1]

Hmmm... ik ben benieuwd !!! De X100 heeft zich goed gehouden tijdens mijn weekendje Efteling!!! Ik heb trouwens firmware 1.11 erop staan.

@PanzerFaustNL, bedankt voor je info! Trouwens, die X700 lijkt veel op mijn eerste Minolte (XG-M), de XD7 is ook een fraaie, mocht je die tegen komen, heb ik jaren met veel plerzier mee gefotografeerd!

Vandaag een Canon ef 85mm f1.8 USM gekocht....en een 2e Canon 5D II erbij.

Eert was ik naar de k-e gereden en de 85 gekocht....later op de dag nog een keer terug om toch nog de 5D II erbij te halen ....toch gevaarlijk als je er om de hoek woont hahaha.
