Ook ik vind de eerste versie mooier. Ik zou ook nog even de horizon rechtzetten.

qua kleursetting ga ik toch voor de eerste, kijkt m.i. net wat mooier... Het is een mooi landschapje geworden 
Ik denk dat hij qua scherpte/usm wel een tandje/fractie meer mag hebben....

Mijn suggesties:
1- Horizon recht zetten (zoals Marco ook al aangaf)
2- Hooglichten wat omlaag zodat de wolken mooier uitkomen (minder uitgebeten) + heel misschien iets spelen met de helderheid.

Ik ga nog even aan de slag met de horizon
@Dave, ik had de hooglichten al tot een minimum gezet om de wolken er beter uit te laten komen, maar zal een kijken of ik op het eindresultaat de hooglichten op een positieve manier kan hergebruiken op de foto.

Misschien zou je die kleine uitgebeten stukken weg kunnen clonen met de 'vlekken verwijderen'-tool in lightroom of in photoshop met vullen->inhoud behouden. Als er kleine vlekjes uitgebeten zijn moet dat lukken.
