FoCal Public Beta - FoCal 1.3.0.81
FoCal 1.3 has a lot of new features, and we've done extensive in-house testing across various cameras and PCs, and also had help from testing partners around the world to check that things are in order

It's nearly ready, and we'd like to give all the FoCal Pro users a change to test drive the new features early, so by logging in to the License Management System you can download the latest Beta version

Thank you to everyone who tried the initial beta (1.5.0.111 - detailed below). There's more work to do, but this latest version includes the following fixes:
>Fixed a bug where the inital AFMA value was always 0 for Fully Auto test on the 5Dmk3
>Fixed a bug which caused some Canon cameras (including 5Dmk3) to timeout early when capturing images
>Fixed an issue with the Aperture Sharpness test occasionally crashing after the first shot
>Fixed a bug where manual mode was not clearing data before a second and subsequent run
>Removed request to set AFMA value (MSC Mode) when it wasn't required
>Enhancements to the MSC setting dialog - bigger text so it's more obvious which value to set
>Removed unnecessary warning messages when Expert Mode settings are used
>Clarification of lighting requirements in the manual

Just to re-iterate what is already stated below: there are a few things to note about Beta software:
Beta software may have bugs and problems, may not be as reliable or as functional as the full version of the software.
The Beta software is only available to FoCal Pro users
The Beta versions are time limited and will expire on a fixed date in the future.

FoCal 1.5 is the result of a huge rework of all the underlying software in FoCal to bring consistency, reliability and general improvements.

Some of the many improvements for all versions
>A new analysis algorithm which is more robust to light level changes and small movements and chromatic abberations.
>Improved setup of the camera for testing
>Huge improvements to the whole setup and shooting code to be more intelligent, hopefully improving reliability
>Improvements to Target Setup to give better feedback

And for FoCal Pro users:
>Analysis at off centre focus points for all supported Nikon cameras
>A big rework to the whole system which handles shifting of the analysis points (e.g. for different focus points)
>Improvement to Target Optimisation making it a very useful addition to MSC mode (see section 16 of the manual for more details)
>A hopefully reliably and working Dust Analysis test!
>A slight change to the AF consistency test to give a more suitable measurement of consistency
>A pretty much complete rework of the Report content - there's now far more information, better charts, better pagination and tidier images as well as analysis region indication
